From 1991 through 2009 Oasis was a British Pop band who released over half a dozen albums and won numerous Euopean music awards, including NME awards, MTV Europe awards, Brit awards and others.

Although they disbanded in 2009, many ofthe members continue to perform together as Beady Eye.
