Gregg Allman, co founder of the Allman Brothers Band and a Rock And Roll Hall of Famer, underwent a liver transplant today in Jacksonville, Florida.Performed at the Mayo Clinic, the transplant was required due to Allman's battle with Hepatits C.Through his manager, and posted on websites everywhere, Allman thanked all the medical people involved and his legion of fans.
