From Worchester, Massachusetts, Barbara Carroll is a jazz pianist and vocalist who started gigging in 1947. She led trios that included Chuck Wayne and then Charlie Byrd on guitar, and that featured Clyde Lombardi and then Joe Shulman on bass.
