British soul singer Adele got her break when XL Recordings came across a 3 song demo posted online by a friend of hers. She has released 2 albums to date, 19 and 21. Her first album debuted at number one, and went on to be certified platinnum many times over in the UK.

She has already won 2 Grammy awardsa and is touring in 2011 to suppport her latest CD.
