Canadian/American singer Paul Anka burst on to the scene as a teen idol back in the 50s and 60s with a string of pop hits, including "Put Your Head on my Shoulder" and "Diana".

Anka has gone on to have success in other genres of music as well as film and telelvison. He is a Canadian institution who has helped launch the careers of others.
