Bo Diddley influenced countless musicians and bands from North America and overseas, and established the style that came to be known as "Rock & Roill".

His signature, homemade rectangular guitar, was only one of the many innovations he contributed to music in general, but the guitar in particular. His sound has been both imitated and integrated by many artists and into many other styles.
