American alt artists Soundgarden lead vocalist Chris Cornell is also the former lead vocalist for Audioslave. A powerful vocalist with a wide range has also done a number of solo projects and released 3 solo albums to date.

Most recently Cornell provided vocals for Santana's cover of Whole Lotta Love on his Guitar Heaven CD.
