Vancouverite Jim Vallance is a pure songwriter in the sense that while he has a few performance or recording credits, he is and always has been most intimately involved in the songwriter process. He is most famous for his work with Bryan Adams, but has also written for artists suchs as Bonnie Raitt, Joe Cocker, Aerosmith and many others.
